Nick Lodolo is throwing a side bullpen session on Sunday. He was sore after throwing a live bullpen on Thursday.
How he feels after Sunday's workout will determine his chances of starting the regular season on time according to Mark Sheldon of MLB.com.
Lodolo hasn't pitched in a game in nearly 10 months (May 6, 2023). He missed most of last season with a left tibia injury.
The Reds were optimistic about his chances of being ready for the start of the season, but his status is officially up in the air moving forward.
Sunday's side session is a big moment for him and the Reds.

By tibula, I meant tibia. Sorry for inventing a new leg bone. https://t.co/vAQpTm8oF6
